11:30 AM - Monastery of Panagia Chrisoskalitissa

This beautiful monastery is located on a cliff overlooking the Libyan Sea and boasts a rich history dating back to the Byzantine era. The monastery’s name means “golden step” in Greek, and it is said that one of the steps leading up to the church is made of gold. Visitors can explore the stunning Byzantine architecture, intricate frescoes, and impressive bell tower while taking in the breathtaking views of the sea below.
